Not less than 13 countries including
the United Kingdom, Croatia ,South Korea,China among others
participating in the 2016 Calabar Carnival.
The Chairman,Cross River state
Carnival, Mr Gabe Onah disclosed this at the Millennium park ,venue
of the flag of the 2016 Calabar carnival.
Onah said that 13 countries and 22
states were among the participants in thus years edition of Africa's
largest street party.
"We have 13 countries and 22
states participating in this years edition.It shows how big the
Calabar carnival has becomes as the attention of the world is drawn
to Calabar ,we have grown bigger and better as have remained
consistent for 12 years. The bands will move round the 12 kilometer
carnival routes entertaining people".
